The West Virginia Division of Personnel’s Reference Guide to the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act & the West Virginia Parental Leave Act, was found to be the counterpart of the federal Family and Medical Leave Act, 29 USC 2601 et seq. The Division of Personnel did not find any part of the guidelines to be more stringent than the federal Act or regulations.
