Summary

This rule is more strict than the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). West Virginia Office of Miner’s Health, Safety and Training requires a person desiring to become a coal mine electrician to participate in an apprenticeship program and ultimately pass an electrical test. MSHA does not.
