The West Virginia Division of Personnel’s (DOP) policy, DOP-P23, Family and Medical Leave Act/Parental Leave Act, was found to be the counterpart of the federal Family and Medical Leave Act, 29 USC 2601 et. seq. The DOP did not find any part of this policy to be more stringent than the federal Act and regulations.
